Notes on Entries
ONLINE entries are now CLOSED!

Entries will still be accepted at the Cornish Pumphouse Waihi from 12pm - 8pm Friday 23rd April.  There will be no entries taken on Saturday.

Entry prices are as follows and are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD):

• Junior Individual $86
• Junior Team $135
• Individual $189
• 2-Person Team $217
• 3-Person Team $251
• 4-Person Team $312
• Pairs $292

In the event that the race is cancelled due to extreme climatic conditions, no refund will be given.

Once entered all competitors must present for race registration during the hours listed in the event schedule. Note: Team Captains cannot register for others, all competitors must attend registration. All competitors under the age of 18 must attend registration with a parent / guardian.

Other notes

• Entries are NOT transferrable. We generously allow you to make changes to your entries including your names which makes it pretty hard to stop automatically, however we keep a log of all changes and compare the initial entry with the registration listing. In the case of team entries, at least one team member must remain the same as when initially entered. Individual entries must be the same person.
• Changes to team composition may be made online up until 7 days prior to the race. After that, there are no guarantees that the correct names will be included in the program or results. Please contact us if you have an urgent change in the last week.
• Changes that affect categories or entry fee pricing MUST be communicated to Rapid Ascent, failure to abide may result in disqualification
• Changes to a team which result in an increase or decrease in entry fee will require the difference to be paid or refunded. This will be processed at race registration.
• Payment for online entries is via 128-bit encrypted credit card transaction. Should you require alternative payment options please contact Rapid Ascent
• Payment for paper-based entries is via credit card, cheque or direct bank transfer. For bank transfers, please include a receipt of your transaction with your entry

What you need to provide

• Kayak / Surf ski, helmet & paddle for paddling legs
• Mountain Bike and shoes for MTB legs
• All other equipment required to complete each leg
• A great attitude!!
